Fun was had by all on the lead up to Easter at New Woodlands School. Children learnt about the Easter story and Easter symbols. They also engaged in a number of fun, creative, social interaction and learning activities such as Growth Mind-set Easter egg hunt, Easter Bunny art, comprehension about the Easter story, making Easter baskets and chocolate rice crispy cakes to go in them. Some classes made and decorated their own eggs out of paper Mache. One class even had an egg and spoon race. Well done Key Stage 1 & 2 – we hope you enjoyed your Easter fun.
Zephaniah Class had surprise visitors for the Day. The students really enjoyed making new Furry Friends and developing understanding of how important is to care for animals Properly .
Red Nose Day at New Woodlands School 2021 Students learnt about the origins of Red Nose day and why it is important to support it. Students watched educational videos related to Red Nose Day, looked at the development of the Red Nose designs over the years and designed their own Red Noses .
