  • Hockey Tournament December 2021

    Fri 17 Dec 2021

Our primary students took part in their first termly tournament! After weeks of learning, developing and practising their skills, they had a chance to put them to the test competitively.

Each class played each other once, scoring points for a win and a draw. It was an intense but wonderful experience for the students, some showing their hidden talents of goal keeping and dribbling.

All students received a certificate of participation, while 3rd, 2nd and 1st place teams received medals.

The hard fought winners were Nurture class who took the trophy home.

Well done to everyone and see you next time for competition two!

  • Mandela Class - Leeds Castle

    Tue 14 Dec 2021

Mandela Class has been studying the Tudors this term and visited Leeds Castle. The castle was passed to Henry Vlll after the death of his father Henry Vll.  King Henry Vlll transformed the castle to be more comfortable so he and his first Queen Catherine of Aragon could live in comfort.

Visiting a castle is also part of our experiences we need to have before we leave primary school.

  • Curie Class - Woods at High Elms Country Park

    Tue 14 Dec 2021

In Curie Class we visited the Cafe in the Woods at High Elms Country Park. We looked at the menu before we went to decide what we would like to order. We got on the mini bus and drove to the Cafe.

When we got there we sat on a big table outside with Edison Class. We looked at our menu and chose what we would like to order.

We went inside of the Cafe and ordered our food. We took it in turns to pay and took our receipts. The waitress brought our food to our table and we were very polite! We enjoyed eating our meal together and then went back to get desert! We had ice creams and cakes. We had a lovely time at the Cafe and enjoyed our food!

  • Year 10 Jack Petchy Award Trip

    Wed 08 Dec 2021

Ms Glover, Kenny, Jack and class RG had a fabulous day trip to Tower Bridge, with thanks to Ryan Davis who was nominated for the prestigious ‘Jack Petchey Award’. At Tower Bridge pier we boarded the thrilling Thames RIB (rigid inflatable boat) Experience. After donning life jackets, we were blasted into an ultimate adrenaline high-speed adventure! The speedboat maxed on the ‘V8’ twin turbo thrust and blasted James Bond music. The boat took us down the Thames towards Greenwich before turning around and hurtling back.

It was the most invigorating, wet and extreme sightseeing tour ever!

Once back on dry land, we headed to Greenwich to look at the amazing view and then went to eat in a local restaurant. Thanks Ryan and Jack Petchey!
