In Zephaniah class, we looked took part Halloween activities such as 3D pop-ups, character puppets and pumpkin faces.
Before Halloween, we decorated our classroom in the spookiest way, with glow in the dark bats, spider webs and witch hats.
It was spooktastic!

As we encourage reading across the whole school we have found a resource we want to share with you to support home reading. Reading impacts on all aspects of the curriculum and the more opportunities to read each day will make a big difference
Please do have a look at the below link to support this at home and we hope you will find it useful.
Year 8 went on the RAF flight simulator at the Science museum
Year 11 attended National Science Live at the Excel Centre
Year 9 AJP class went bowling in Bromley as a relationship - building activity. They all enjoyed the game and getting to know each other more.
Year 8 went to the Science Museum to go on the RAF Typhoon VR Simulator to support their learning on Forces: Gravity.
We were lucky to have three fabulous artists from LEAN’s (Lewisham Education and Art Network) Creative Careers Programme come and work with our KS3/4 students.
Lily Ash Sakula ran a workshop whereby the students’ made characters from plastercine and then learnt how to animate them using Stop Motion.
Russeni Fisher is a spoken word artist who worked with the students to create lyrics based on their experience and environment
Yusuf Osman is a leather craftsman who taught the students how to safely cut and create keyrings using leather.
A truly enriching, creative and educational time was had by all.

Big thanks to Mr Hatzidakis for organising the Secondary Cross Country event today. The pupils sprinted the track with the aim to beat their last scores and we saw some real success. Winner of the cup goes to Hannarly- well done.
A big congratulations to Ms Hutton for all her hard work . She has received a certificate form the National Teaching Awards in recognising her Excellence in Special Needs education
We are very proud of last year’s Jack Petchey winners, Ryan Davis and Anthony Warner, who were presented with their medals at Blackheath Halls by Cllr Chris Barnham the Cabinet Member for Children’s Services and School Performance.
To win this award is a huge accolade, and both Ryan and Anthony were very deserving winners, who we are incredibly proud of.
We look forward to celebrating this year’s winners, Louis Chalk and Tommy Annand’s awards at Blackheath Halls in the future.
