New Woodlands School has a strong team where every staff and pupil member plays a very important part in the life of the whole school.
Our school teaching and learning specialists deliver hands-on, collaborative lessons according to each student's unique style. With direction from our Senior Leadership Team and Governors, guidance from professionals, help from our learning assistants, and support from our administration, parents and wider community, we challenge our students ensuring they receive the same standard of education and care we would expect for our own children.
We have 12 teachers and 13 support staff, 2 Behaviour Mentors and SENCO. We also have several professionals based on site including an Educational Psychologist and a full time Therapist and Counsellor. The school benefits from active and engaged Speech and Language Therapists, a School Nurse, Drama Therapist, Police Officer and CAMHS Worker who are also regularly based on site.
