Imperial War Museum June 2024

Recently, Mandela and DL Classes took a trip to The Imperial War Museum.  The Imperial War Museum was founded during the First World War to tell the stories of those whose lives had been touched by the conflict.  Over that time, artifacts have been collected from several wars.  The collection contains tanks, armored carriers, fighter planes, bombs, artillery, submarines, torpedo’s and rockets over 3 floors.  Additionally, there was an exhibition of medals servicemen won for bravery during various wars.   The visit gave the children a glimpse into the lives the servicemen during those wars.
