World Book Day 2021

New Woodlands School (secondary) embraced World Book Day with joy, despite the limitations of the COVID-19 lockdown!

We spent the day discussing our favourite books and sharing recommendations.

All students wrote a ‘sales pitch review’ to promote their favourite books to their peers.

Classes engaged in quiet reading, group reading and even listening to audio literature.

We also spent time looking at New Woodlands Virtual Book Fair where we were able to browse for our next read and to decided what to spend our World Book Day vouchers on. We hope next year to be back to normal so that we can all once again dress up!
